Weekend round-up: N24, British GT, PWC, Australian GT, Italian GT

Besides the 24 Hours of the Nurburgring, there was a lot of GT racing in the States, Europe and Australia. Australian GT held three races at Phillip Island, while the Pirelli World Challenge raced twice at Lime Rock Park. Kaspersky aiming high with Ferrari

2016 has seen Kaspersky Motorsport return to the Blancpain GT running in the Am Cup with their Ferrari 458 GT3.  This represents a leap forward for the team, with the car now carrying full Kaspersky branding although still running out of the AF Corse stable. The number 84 HTP Mercedes took the race victory at Silverstone on Sunday following an exciting second race of the season. Maxi Buhk took the chequered flag in the Mercedes-AMG only just ahead of Laurens Vanthoor in the Belgian Audi Club Team WRT Audi R8 LMS GT3 whilst the pole-sitting number 16 Lamborghini Huracán GT3 of Mirko Bortolotti, Rolf Ineichen and Jeroen Bleekemolen came home third.
