Manthey Racing has picked up where they left off by taking the first pole position of the year at the Nürburgring. In the fog-delayed session, the number 911 of Kévin Estre, Earl Bamber and Laurens Vanthoor went quickest with a time of 8:03.070 to start today’s VLN1 from first place on the grid.
Wochenspiegel Team Monschau begins from second place. Jochen Krumbach, Georg Weiss and Oliver Kainz brought the Rinaldi Racing-run Ferrari 488 GT3 to second place, just four tenths shy of pole.
VLN1 starts at 12:30 CET.
