In a cold and wet Monza, the first Blancpain GT race of 2019 is about to get underway. Leading the charge to the green flag will be the Grasser Racing Lamborghini Huracán GT3. The Austro-Italian team went quickest in this morning’s rain-lashed qualifying session with a time of 2:03.944 set by Mirko Bortolotti. The number 90 AKKA ASP Mercedes-AMG GT3 lines up second on the grid for the 3-hour endurance race.
The rain is still falling at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza and will continue to do so throughout the rest of the day.
The race starts at 15:00 CET.
