One week after the taxing Spa 24 Hours another classic endurance race is on the cards: At the Nürburgring 153 cars will go for glory in the Rowe 6 Stunden ADAC Ruhr-Pokal-Rennen. The traditional 6-hour race at the Nordschleife counts as the highlight of the VLN season and this year sees 14 GT3s make their way to the Eifel. Amongst the teams making the quick turnaround from Spa to Nürburgring are last weekend’s podium finishers Rowe Racing — with BMW rather than Porsche — and Black Falcon as well as Walkenhorst Motorsport and Phoenix Racing.
After heavy rain during the qualifying session, a dry 6-hour race is expected with the temperature reaching a maximum of 19 degrees Celsius.
The race starts today at 12:00 CET.
