The 2019 Peter Auto season ended in a blaze of glory at the Circuit Paul Ricard in the south of France with the traditional Dix Mille Tours.

Despite the for Paul Ricard unusually bad weather conditions, the concluding meeting was an ongoing success: The 10th anniversary of the racing event gathered more than 350 historic racing cars from the 1950s to the late 2000s divided in seven different races. This edition has been marked, among others, by the presence of a remarkable reunion of the Tom Walkinshaw Racing Silk Cut Jaguars from the the XJR-9 to the XJR-14 with Éric Hélary, an ex-Le Mans 24 Hours winner, behind the wheel, and another XJR-11 and XJR-12.

Furthermore, the meeting showcased memorable endurance cars from every era and for every taste: Ferrari 512 S, Ferrari 333 SP, Ferrari 250 GT SWB, Peugeot 905, AC Cobra, Porsche 962, Porsche 917.

Peter Auto recently announced its 2020 calendar and scheduled the next edition of the Dix Mille Tours in the beginning of April, three months prior to Le Mans Classic. Let’s hope the weather will be sunny next year for this fabulous historic motorsports event. Vivement l’année prochaine.
