Last week the German government ordered a halt to events due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, forcing VLN to cancel the first races of the season. To make up for missed action, the series is organising an online replacement for VLN1. The 4-hour race will see well-known race car drivers such as David Pittard, Fabian Schiller, Philip Ellis, Mike Rockenfeller, Richard Westbrook, David Griessner, Sage Karam, Nicki Thiim, Florian Bodin, and the Nett brothers take on some of the best online racers on iRacing’s version of the Nürburgring-Nordschleife.

The start of the race is at 13:00 CET, with the pre-race show beginning at 11:00 CET where Olli Martini and Patrick Simon catch you up on the latest regarding the real-life VLN.
