Frikadelli Racing returns to the race track on 15 June for the VLN test day at the Nürburgring-Nordschleife following the long COVID-19 pandemic pause. The team from Barweiler brings along both its Porsche 991.2 GT3Rs.

At the wheel of the #30 911 will be Sabine Schmitz, Alex Müller, team-owner Klaus Abbelen while also seeing the return of Lance David Arnold to the Porsche squad following a succesful stint with Frikadelli Racing in 2018 where he scored two victories. Driving duties on the #31 sister car are fulfilled by Porsche works drivers Kévin Estre and Michael Christensen.

“The first test day on Monday will be extremely important for our team,” says Abbelen. “After our test in Barcelona at the beginning of March, we will now be looking to gather our first data at the Nürburgring-Nordschleife for the 2020 season.”

The third Frikadelli Racing car, a Porsche Cayman GT4 (718 Clubsport), of Hendrik von Danwitz and ‘Jules’ will make its first appearance at the season premier of the VLN Nürburgring Endurance Series on 27 June.
