TF Sport will return to the International GT Open Championship this season with Salih Yoluc and Charlie Eastwood competing in the Pro class of the 2020 championship. Taking time out from the FIA World Endurance Championship the team returns to the series they first raced in back in 2016.

Then Yoluc was partnered with Euan Hankey driving the Aston Martin v12 Vantage. With pole position and race victory at Monza and two further podium finishes including a win at the team’s home race at Silverstone TF Sport and Salih Yoluc are looking forward to a strong return to the championship.

Speaking about his return Salih Yoluc said, “I am very happy to be coming back to the GT Open championship, it has grown so much since I last competed in 2016. Charlie and I have shared many successes in the last couple of years, so I’m really looking forward to being out on the grid once again.”

The revised 2020 calendar means the six round GT Open championship will begin on August 8 at the Hungaroring going on to the series finale at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in November.

In the World Endurance Championship the team along with third driver Jonny Adam currently hold second place in the GTE AM drivers championship. With 3 races to go, including the Le Mans 24 hours

Charlie Eastwood is also looking forward to the challenge of taking on another series. “It’s great to be teamed up with Salih in yet another championship. He is one of the fastest GT AM drivers out there and has proved himself to be ultra-competitive in both GT3 and GTE PRO-AM classes, so it will be great to see him develop further as a driver within the PRO class.”
