Before their first races this weekend kickoff the new European Le Mans Series and Michelin Le Mans Cup, competitors were back on track at Circuit Paul Ricard for the official series’ test.
In the heat of the south of France, Alex Brundle set a fastest time of 1:38.158 behind the wheel of the #32 United Autorsport Oreca 07 in LMP2 while in the GTE category it was Alessio Picariello who put the #77 Dempsey-Proton Racing Porsche 911 RSR on top of the charts in his class. Michelin Le Mans Cup was dominated by the #11 Eurointernational Ligier LMP3 setting the pace over the two first days.
