With the team already at Misano, UK-based ERC Sport today announced their entry into the 2020 GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Sprint Cup. The team led by Keith Cheetham will contest their Mercedes-AMG GT3 in the series with Lee Mowle and Phil Keen at the wheel.
Mowle will be in his third year year with the Shropshire team having already raced in the British GT Championship, finshing 4th in 2018 including a victory at Rockingham. In 2019 he competed alone in the Blancpain GT Sports Club where he finished 4th in the overall standings and 2nd in the Titanium Cup
Phil Keen joins the team fresh from victory at Oulton Park in the opening round of the British GT Championship. No stranger to the GT World Challenge, Keen raced in 2019 with Orange 1 FFF Racing Team and continues in 2020 with the Lamborghini squad in the Endurance Cup. The team has not entered the sprint series leaving Keen free to partner with Mowle for the season.
