Frikadelli Racing, Falken Motorsports and KCMG have announced new Porsche works driver line-ups following Porsche Motorsport’s announcement to pull out all its personnel including works drivers who competed in the Le Mans 24 Hours last weekend following positive COVID-19 tests.
NÜRBURGRING 24 HOURS ENTRY LIST
Replacing Michael Christensen, Kévin Estre and Matt Campbell aboard the #30 Frikadelli Racing Porsche 991.2 GT3R are Mathieu Jaminet and Lars Kern whilst Lance David Arnold moves from Frikadelli’s #30 Porsche to join Maxime Martin on the #31 car. Jaminet and Kern were initially entered on the #911 Manthey Racing Porsche before the works team announced it was quarantining itself. Arnold’s replacement on the #30 Porsche is Norbert Siedler who makes his return to the team from Barweiler.
KCMG, meanwhile, has brought in Earl Bamber, Timo Bernhard and Jörg Bergmeister for the #18 Porsche. The #19 car’s line-up remains largely intact with Dennis Olsen replacing Romain Dumas whilst remaining on the #18 Porsche for double duty.
Finally, Falken Motorsports has opted to continue with just its remaining six drivers. To complete the four-drive line-ups, Klaus Bachler will compete on the #33 Porsche in addition to the #44 Porsche, with Sven Müller also picking up double duty aboard the #44 Porsche.
