The Intelligent Money British GT championship heads to Silverstone on the 8th November for the season finale with a race breaking out within the GTC class.
Simon Green Motorsport have already announced a GTC-spec Ferrari 488 Challenge with Lucky Khera, Lee Frost and Ross Wylie driving in the 3 hour race. Now joining them in the class will be John Dhillon and Phil Quaife who will be driving Scott Sport’s Ferrari GTC entry.
Dhillon and Quaife have campaigned the same 488 Challenge Evo in GT Cup this season, while Dhillon has also raced in the Scuderia’s one-make European series since 2018. His affinity for the manufacturer extends to British GT where he last competed in 2014 with AF Corse and the previous-generation 458 GT3.
Quaife will make his first British GT start since 2009’s season finale at Brands Hatch where he raced Barwell’s invitational Zytek-powered Ginetta. He also scored a class victory with Motorbase as far back as 2005.
Meanwhile Simon Green Motorsport along with Frost and Khera will be making their debut in the championship. 2014 GT4 champion Wylie makes his first start since contesting the 2016 GT3 campaign with Motorbase Performance.
Further race-by-race entries – including GTC – will be announced in the coming weeks. Indeed, organisers expect at least 30 cars to contest the season finale next month.
