ACI has presented the 2021 calendar for the Italian GT Championship. The championship retains its split Sprint and Endurance championship format with all eight race weekends divided equally. The addition of Enna-Pergusa marks a welcome return of the lakeside racetrack to the Italian championship.

While the schedule largely mirrors that of previous season, Autodromo di Pergusa has been added in exchange for Vallelunga’s Sprint round. The Sicilian pista returns to the Campionato Italiano Gran Turismo having last hosted a round in 2004.

The 19th season of Italian GT kicks off on 2nd May with Sprint races at Monza followed three weeks later by the first round of the Endurance championship at Enna-Pergusa. Misano hosts the second round of Sprint races in the weekend of 6th June and one month later, on 11th July, Mugello is the setting of the last Endurance race before the summer break. The series returns on 5th September in Imola for the Sprint championship followed by an Endurance race at Vallelunga on 19th September. Italian GT then heads back to Mugello for the Sprint finale on 10th October while Monza hosts the Endurance and overall season finale on 31st October.
