GT Cup fan favourites Triple M Motorsport/Tec Serv have announced their return to the series in the ever-popular Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3.

Despite only making two appearances during the truncated 2020 campaign, 2021 promises to be a much better campaign for the Japanese legend, providing the reliability issues which plagued the car have been resolved.

There was no shortage of pace with Grahame Tilley and Will Tregurtha dominating Sunday’s action from the Brands Hatch round in October. Even a detached wheel in Race 1 of the weekend couldn’t dampen the duo’s spirits.

2021 will be the third season of competition for the Tec Serv GT-R after its debut in 2019 and its first full season. Strong results have always been present so they are a real threat for the overall title heading into the 2021 season.

Tregurtha especially cannot wait to get the season underway.

“Racing the Nissan is a huge rush, I’m completely addicted to it. It’s such an awesome car and I genuinely love racing with Grahame and TripleM, the nicest lot in the paddock! GT Cup is great fun and I’m always looking forward to the race weekends.

“The Nissan is a total rocket-ship down the straights, but a bit of a cruise ship in the corners! So you have to hustle it hard for results, which Grahame has got the hang of so we are hoping for lots of nice shiny trophies this year!”

The 2021 season is scheduled to get underway on the 10th of April at the historic Donington Park utilising the same successful format from the 2020 season. With last year’s champions, Josh Jackson and Simon Orange already confirmed, the competition is hotter than ever.
