The 2021 Peter Auto season that was supposed to start with the Dix Mille Tours on 26-28 March has been postponed. In its place comes a brand-new event has just joined the series by Peter Auto 2021 calendar – Nogaro Historic between 23-25 July.
The decision to postpone the Dix Mille Tours was inevitable given the travel restrictions imposed on the competitors. Although the teams and cars are already on French territory, the majority of drivers in the Dix Mille Tours live abroad. The travelling restrictions abroad imposed by various governments make their arrival unlikely.
As the situation is looking to improve later in the year, a new event has been launched the series’ organiser Peter Auto: the Nogaro Historic will be held on 23-25 July. It is the very first time that the series is visiting the race track in southwest France. This is a region that will undoubtedly go over well with both fans and competitors alike, as both the circuit and gastronomic cuisine are amongst the finest Occitania has to offer.
