Having previously contested a single round in the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup back in 2019, Dinamic Motorsport returns in 2021 to run the full Sprint Cup season with Christian Engelhart and Adrien De Leener entered in a Porsche 991.2 GT3R.
The Italian team made the announcement a week after unveiling its 2021 program for the Endurance Cup where Engelhart was announced to race alongside Matteo Cairoli and Klaus Bachler, meaning Dinamic will contest the full ten-race schedule of the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS for the first time with the German driver leading the charge in the overall championship.
De Leener has not yet been confirmed for an Endurance Cup program but returns to the team having raced the Silver Cup Porsche 991.2 GT3R last year. The Belgian last saw action in the Sprint Cup back in 2018 when he drove for Belgian Audi Club Team WRT.
2021 marks Dinamic Motorsport’s third year in GT3, a journey it began with victory in Monza followed by its second win last year at the Nürburgring.
The 2021 season of the GTWC Europe is scheduled to start on 16-18 April in Monza. The annual pre-season test will be held on 25-26 March at Circuit Paul Ricard, having recently been rescheduled due to the COVID-19 situation.
