Dinamic Motorsport has confirmed it is entering a second Porsche 991.2 GT3R in the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS. The Italian team has named Romain Dumas, Andrea Rizzoli and Mikkel Pedersen as its drivers for the Endurance Cup aboard the #56 Porsche.
The announcement follows the news in recent weeks that the team is returning to both the Endurance and Sprint Cup championships.
With Andrea Rizzoli also confirmed for another season with Dinamic Motorsport, two drivers of the successful 2019 line-up that won in Monza on the team’s debut are back, albeit in different cars with Klaus Bachler driving the #54 Porsche. The Italian, a former Blancpain GT Endurance Pro-Am champion, enters his third year with Dinamic, having contested the 2020 season in the team’s Silver Cup car.
Joining Rizzoli for the second year is Denmark’s Mikkel Pedersen. The young talent raced alongside Rizzoli in what was his first season in GT3 following years in Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars.
Porsche works driver Romain Dumas, meanwhile, swaps GPX Racing for Dinamic Motorsport. The three-time Le Mans winner is responsible for promoting the car to the overall class as he adds a Plantinum-rated driver to the otherwise all-Silver line-up of the second Porsche 991.2 GT3R, making it ineligible for the Silver Cup.
Christian Engelhart, Matteo Cairoli and Klaus Bachler were previously announced to drive the #54 Dinamic Porsche in the Endurance Cup. Engelhart also teams up with Adrien De Leener for a Sprint Cup campaign.
With just over one month to go until the start of the 2021 GT World Challenge Europe season in Monza, Dinamic Motorsport is currently testing with both cars at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
