Shahin, who took over the #777 The Bend Motorsport Park Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo from co-driver Garth Tander, saw himself in fourth place with 15 minutes to go. Despite getting slightly held up by traffic for a couple of laps, Shahin successful caught up and passed the #24 Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo of Tony Bates for second with just a few minutes to go. In just half a lap, Shahin had race leader Jefri Ibrahim in his #888 Triple Eight Engineering Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo within sights.

It wasn’t until the last lap where Shahin successfully overtook the Triple Eight Mercedes around Forrest’s Elbow to take a 0.886-second win over the prince.

That makes three wins from four races for the Melbourne Performance Center team this season.

The second MPC Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo of Tony Bates and Chaz Mostert saw itself claim third place overall, while the #4 Grove Motorsport Porsche 991.2 GT3R of Stephen and Brenton Grove finished fourth.

Brad Schumacher closed out the top 5 in his Audi R8 LMS Ultra GT3, again taking yet another Trophy class victory.

Tony Quinn finished sixth overall in his Aston Martin Vantage GT3 to take Am class honors.
