Another Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo has been confirmed in the GT Cup class for the upcoming Italian GT Championship season. Easy Race, the reigning 2020 GT Cup champions, have confirmed Francesca Linossi and Daniel Vebster as their drivers who will take part in the Sprint Series.

29-year-old Linossi makes her return to the series for the first time after winning the 2019 Italian GT GT3 Pro-Am Endurance series championship, which saw her conquer glory behind the wheel of an Antonelli Motorsport-prepared Mercedes-AMG GT3. All while sharing driving duties with Stefano Colombo.

18-year-old Vebster has also found Italian GT glory, having won last year’s Sprint Series GT4 Am title while driving a Centri Porsche Ticino Porsche Cayman GT4 with Giacomo Riva.

With this announcement, the GT Cup category currently sees nine entries confirmed with three Ferraris and as many Porsches and Lamborghinis.

The 2021 Italian GT season is set to kick off at Monza with its Sprint series rounds from 30 April-2 May, while the Endurance season will start at Circuit Enna-Pergusa from 21-23 May.
