The team’s first pole of the season was scored by newcomer Jakub Giermaziak. After a high-paced NLS4 with GetSpeed Performance, the Pole joins Konrad Motorsport for this weekend, teaming up with Michele Di Martino. His quick lap came shortly before a Code 60 Zone at Schwalbenschwanz slowed down lap times until close to the end of the session.
Frank Stippler put the #5 Phoenix Racing Audi R8 LMS GT3 on second place. His lap of 7:55.168 stood atop the charts for a few seconds until Giermaziak went just 0.275 seconds quicker.
Adam Christodoulou (#6 Haupt Racing Team Bilstein Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo) and Dennis Olsen (#3 Falken Motorsports Porsche 991.2 GT3R) were two of few drivers to profit from the lifting of the Code 60 shortly before the end of the session but failed to take the top position. They occupy the second row on the grid for today’s NLS5.
The #44 BMW Junior Team BMW M6 GT3 starts fifth, alongside the #4 Falken Motorsports Porsche 991.2 GT3R.
NLS5 starts Saturday at 12:00 CEST. Watch it LIVE on GT REPORT.
