FF Corse returns to the Intelligent Money British GT Championship next weekend at Spa-Francorchamps where Omar Jackson and Charlie Hollings will share a Ferrari 488 Competizione Evo.

The team, whose GTC entry usually competes in Ferrari’s one-make series, made its first British GT appearance since 2016 during last year’s Silverstone 500 with Jamie Stanley and Laurent de Meeus.

Now another of its Ferrari Challenge Europe Pirelli Trofeo Am drivers, Jackson, will sample their first taste of British GT. The 29-year-old joined the continental championship earlier this year and will be making his multi-class GT debut at Spa during SRO Speedweek, which brings together several of the organisation’s European categories.

“This is a great opportunity for me to get some race mileage at Spa ahead of the upcoming Ferrari Challenge round in September,” said Jackson. “Spa is one of my favourite tracks; I look forward to using this race weekend to perfect my skills there and focus on finding the optimum car setup.

“The Ferrari Challenge paddock is very impressive but I’m sure SRO Speedweek – with all the other support series there – will provide a different sort of motorsport experience and atmosphere. It goes without saying that I am really excited to take part in this British GT round.”

Hollings, meanwhile, makes the latest of his many race-by-race British GT appearances, the first of which came back in 2008.

British GT’s annual round in Belgium takes place on 24-25 July. Watch it live on GT.REPORT/live.
