There was a spirit of 24h of Le Mans last weekend for the round #4 of Ultimate Cup Series on the Bugatti circuit. The GT endurance race and their 23 crews started before sunset and ended in the dark 4 hours later.

Despite a puncture at the ‘Virage du raccordement’ with just an hour to go, the #76 Porsche 911 GT3 R triumphed after 131 loops. Raymond Narac and Arnaud Pierre spared no effort to win their first Ultimate Cup Series race against the #1 Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo who had taken pole position a few hours earlier.

Jean-Paul Pagny, David Hallyday and Jean-Bernard Bouvet, at the wheel of the Ferrari #1, could have some regrets as they finished 16 seconds only behind the winners despite 3 drive through penalties – two for speeding under FCY and one for causing a collision. Podium was completed by the #5 Renault R.S. 01, driven by Franck Dezoteux and Stéphane Tribaudini.
