A brand new team will join the grid of the 2022 Intelligent Money British GT Championship with 7TSIX confirming a full season GT3 entry.
Running a McLaren 720S GT3 the team will have 2020 GT4 Pro-Am champions Mia Flewitt and Euan Hankey behind the wheel for their debut season.
With just two outings in 2021 driving the Team Rocket RJN McLaren 720s GT3, the pair who have driven together since 2017 will reunite for the full season in 2022.
Mia explained: “It has been a rollercoaster ride since I joined the grid for the first time back in 2017, and it is great to continue gathering momentum. I am so pleased to continue my journey with Euan, who has been a key part of each step so far, and we are more motivated than ever for this latest challenge in the British GT championship. It is also great to be working with Race for RP, Alcon, Rebellion Timepieces, Sky, Topaz and VirtusLab, Real Equipe and HypeX again, and really pleased to welcome new partners CPC and Infinite for 2022. I am really excited to be heading back to British GT together with 7TSIX for a Pro-Am championship challenge in the 720S GT3.”
Founded by Joe Edge, 7TSIX benefits from a strong team of individuals who have worked closely with the McLaren brand and the 720S GT3. Heading up the team management is Jody Firth, who is an experienced GT racer and engineer in his own right and has extensive knowledge of the latest McLaren, having most recently been involved across multiple successful GT3 campaigns across Europe, the Middle East, and North America. The team now enters the championship with the McLaren 720S GT3, which has enjoyed strong results across the world since its customer racing debut in 2019.

Oulton Park can’t come soon enough. The announcement by 7TSIX marks a fourth consecutive season in the British GT championship for the McLaren 720S GT3, with customer teams enjoying success across each of the seasons.
