A race long battle between the #16 Scherer Sport Team Phoenix Audi R8 LMS GT3 and #34 Walkenhorst Motorsport BMW M4 GT3 was won by the Audi squad, giving René Rast and Kuba Giermaziak their first VLN Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) race win.
