The #6 K-PAX Racing Lamborghini has been stripped of its pole position for today’s TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Spa following a technical infringement identified by the stewards. According to the technical delegation, the Lamborghini’s engine parameters were not in line with the Balance of Performance test and the air filters used were not in line with the ones used by Lamborghini during the Balance of Performance test.

As a result, the car driven to pole by Andrea Caldarelli has had its times from the Super Pole session deleted and will suffer a ten-place grid drop forcing the American squad to start from 30th. The team has also been fined 25,000 euro.
The result hands pole position to the #88 AMG Team Akkodis ASP Mercedes-AMG GT3 of Raffaele Marciello, Daniel Juncadella and Jules Gounon. Marciello was initially second-fastest with a now pole time of 2m16.375sec.
