Scherer Sport Team Phoenix was victorious for the third time this year in the VLN Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) in a season that already saw the team win the 24 Hours of the Nürburgring. Returning to the Eifel for the first time since his win in the 24-hour classic, Kelvin van der Linde teamed up with Kuba Giermaziak for another trophy.
