Day one of the 2023 ADAC TotalEnergies 24h Nürburgring has ended after two qualifying sessions and the #6 Mercedes-AMG Team Bilstein Mercedes-AMG GT3 leading the field. It was Hubert Haupt who put the yellow-blue Bilstein Mercedes on provisional pole with an early lap of 8m13.190sec, pushing the #911 Manthey Racing Porsche 992 GT3R to second after Kévin Estre shortly held first place with an 8m13.469sec.

Third place, for now, is held by the #16 Scherer Sport PHX Audi R8 LMS GT3 ahead of the #4 Mercedes-AMG Team Bilstein Mercedes-AMG GT3.

Several Code 60 zones prevented further fast times. One of the victims of Thursday’s night qualifying was Pavel Lefterov who had a coming together with a Porsche Cayman sending the #7 Konrad Motorsport Lamborghini Huracán GT3 into the guardrails at the fast Galgenkopf. Teamchef Franz Konrad expects the car to be back on track in time for Friday’s third qualifying session.
