Continuing the theme of a dramatic 2023 season, the two 1 hour races from Snetterton certainly didn’t lack drama. The Intelligent Money British GT Championship making its annual visit to the Norfolk circuit for the final two sprint races of the season.

Race one saw a lights-to-flag victory for the Barwell Motorsport Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo2 with Shaun Balfe and Sandy Mitchell proving a formidable pairing once again. Then Race 2 came along in what turned out to be arguably one of the best British GT races of all time. John Ferguson took over the RAM Racing Mercedes AMG GT3 Evo from Raffaele Marciello and pulled off the defensive drive of his life. Fending off several attacks from James Cottingham, Ian Loggie and Simon Orange with all four cars separated by less than a second at the chequered flag.

GT4 meanwhile saw a Race 1 victory for the Raceway Motorsport Ginetta G56 GT4 of Stuart Middleton and Freddie Tomlinson with Optimum Motorsports’ dominant pairing of Jack Brown and Charles Clark clinching Race 2 with a late race pass for the lead.
