2 Seas Motorsport has unveiled its second Mercedes-AMG GT3 lineup for the 2025 British GT Championship, pairing former single-seater star Kiern Jewiss with reigning GT4 Pro-Am champion Charles Dawson. The announcement follows this morning’s confirmation that Kevin Tse and Maximilian Götz will return to helm the team’s first entry.

Jewiss, a former British F4 and Porsche Carrera Cup GB champion, steps into British GT for the first time after a season racing a Porsche 911 GT3 R with Team Parker in the 2023 GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS. His 2024 was relatively quiet, limited to a one-off appearance in the Le Mans Cup with Steller Motorsport. Now, he’s eager to tackle a fresh challenge with 2 Seas and the Mercedes-AMG GT3.

“It is fantastic to confirm a return to racing after a year out of the car, and I’m excited to join 2 Seas Motorsport and partner with Charles,” Jewiss said. “It is going to be a new challenge, having not driven the Mercedes-AMG GT3 before and it is a new championship for me to get to grips with, so we will be looking to make the most of each session. It will definitely be a learning process, and it is shaping up as an incredibly strong grid, but I can’t wait to get into it.”

Dawson, meanwhile, is no stranger to British GT success. In his 2024 debut season, he clinched the GT4 Pro-Am title and finished third overall alongside Seb Morris, also driving a Mercedes-AMG. His move to GT3 marks a natural step forward, though he acknowledges the adjustment ahead.

“Following the success in British GT, winning the GT4 Pro-Am title, it felt like the right time to step up to GT3,” Dawson said. “To be able to do so with a team like 2 Seas will be a fantastic experience. I am really looking forward to spending the season with them, developing my skills, and working with Kiern who comes with a fantastic background. He is a brilliant talent and, together, I think we make a really strong pairing, but our goal is simple as we look to enjoy the season, learn and develop.”

The duo will share the 2 Seas garage with Tse and Götz, whose proven pace—two wins and a pole in 2024—sets a high bar. Team co-owner Isa Al Khalifa expressed confidence in both lineups as the squad prepares for a competitive season.

“The British GT grid continues to strengthen every year, and it looks like 2025 will be no exception,” Al Khalifa said. “I’m really pleased to welcome Kiern and Charles to the team, and to have Kevin and Max back with us for a second run at the title. I think, between them, the two line-ups will be extremely strong, and will push each other on at every event. Kevin and Max proved themselves as real contenders last season, so they will be hard to beat, and Kiern and Charles are a really exciting prospect now they are partnered up.”

The 2025 British GT season begins at Donington Park on April 5-6, with nine rounds set to test the mettle of this promising new pairing and their seasoned teammates.
