Mahiki Racing has finalized its driver line-up for the 2025 British GT Championship, with Porsche Carrera Cup GB graduate Aiden Neate teaming up with former British GT4 title contender Josh Miller in the team’s third Lotus Emira GT4. The youthful Silver-class duo completes a three-car assault for the season, joining Pro-Am pairings Steven Lake/Jack Mitchell and Ian Duggan/Joe Wheeler.
At just 19, Miller brings a wealth of experience to the squad. He secured third place in the GT4 standings with R Racing in 2022 and competed in the class again in 2023 before venturing into the GT4 European Series powered by RAFA Racing Club last year. A former Ginetta Juniors racer, Miller is thrilled to return to the British GT paddock, bolstered by Mahiki Racing’s new official partnership with Lotus.
“This is the start of an exciting new journey for the team, and I’m honored to be a part of it,” Miller said. “Mahiki Racing had an impressive debut season in 2024, and with the incredible work they’ve done alongside Lotus, I’m confident we’ll be in the thick of the championship fight this year. I’ve missed the passionate fans and electric atmosphere of British GT, and I can’t wait for what’s ahead.”
Neate, an 18-year-old rising star, joins Miller in the Silver-class Emira, marking his GT4 debut. The youngster arrives fresh from a successful stint in Porsche Carrera Cup GB in 2024, following a single-seater career that saw him finish third in F4 UAE and sixth in British F4 in 2022. His standout performances earned him a spot in the prestigious Alpine F1 Academy. Now, he’s eager to make his mark in sportscar racing.
“I’m extremely excited to get started with Mahiki in the Lotus Emira GT4,” Neate said. “Meeting the team for the first time gave me huge confidence for the season ahead. They’re an amazing group of people, and I’m looking forward to hitting the ground running.”
Mahiki Racing’s expanded three-car effort signals their ambition to build on a strong inaugural campaign in 2024. The full 2025 British GT entry list will be unveiled this Friday during the championship’s media day at Silverstone, with the season opener set for Donington Park on April 5-6.
