Genesis officially unveiled the team’s first livery for its GMR-001 Hypercar earlier this week, featuring a bold “reddish-orange” colorway that pays homage to Korean heritage.
The brand, which will make its on-track debut next season in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), explained the inspiration behind the design, stating, “Its striking livery embody the brand’s commitment to blending Korean heritage with motorsport innovation, setting a new standard for creativity on the global racing stage.”
In addition to the livery reveal, Genesis also showcased the race suits that will be worn by its drivers to complement the “hot” hypercar aesthetic.

The brand elaborated on the design of the suits, saying, “To complement the GMR-001 Hypercar, the Genesis Magma Racing team’s race suits feature the brand’s signature Two-Line visual in combination with G-Matrix graphics. The suits’ design reinforces the connection between driver, machine, and brand identity.”
Genesis has confirmed its entry into the WEC beginning in 2026, with a scheduled debut in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship to follow in 2027. So far, Andre Lotterer and Pipo Derani are the only confirmed drivers set to usher in the GMR-001, while a group of development drivers is competing this season in the European Le Mans Series (ELMS) to prepare for the full launch.
