Scherer Sport PHX will make its ADAC GT Masters debut in 2025 with a single-car entry for Nico Hantke and Denis Bulatov, fielding the #16 Audi R8 LMS GT3 EVO II in the Silver Cup.

The Simmern-based team, which emerged from Phoenix Racing and claimed overall victory at the 2024 Nürburgring 24 Hours, is expanding its focus beyond the Nordschleife with a first full-season campaign in the ADAC GT Masters, which features events across Germany, the Netherlands, and Austria.

The programme is part of a renewed push by Christian Scherer, CEO of the Scherer Group and founder of Scherer Sport PHX, to expand the team’s motorsport presence. “This is a new challenge in an exciting championship, with two ambitious young drivers and Ron Moser taking the lead – we’ve restructured the team in several areas for 2025 and are really looking forward to the season getting underway,” Scherer said.

Day-to-day operations will be led by newly appointed team principal Ron Moser, who steps into the role for the first time. The 35-year-old son of Phoenix Racing founder Ernst Moser brings a background in both motorsport mechanics and business management, and will oversee the team’s first full-season campaign in sprint-endurance GT3 competition.

Hantke (21) and Bulatov (26) bring strong credentials to the campaign. Both raced in the ADAC GT Masters last year with Walkenhorst Motorsport—Hantke securing five Pro-Am podiums and Bulatov stepping up after finishing runner-up in the 2023 ADAC GT4 Germany.

The 2025 ADAC GT Masters season begins on 23–25 May at the Lausitzring.
