Équipe Vitesse will return to the ADAC Ravenol 24h Nürburgring in 2025, marking its first appearance in the endurance classic since 2022. The team from Waldlaubersheim will compete in the SP9 Am category with its well-known Audi R8 LMS GT3, which passed the 100,000-kilometre mark during the 2024 season.

The entry is managed by team principal Jil Herbst, who oversees the family-run operation from Waldlaubersheim. The line-up features returning drivers Michael Heimrich and Arno Klasen—the latter having raced the car in every event since its debut in 2019. They’ll be joined by Lorenzo Rocco di Torrepadula and Eric Ullström, who makes his GT3 race debut after initial mileage in Portimão in early 2025.

“For me, this is the dream line-up. It doesn’t get better than this,” said Klasen, looking ahead to the team’s return to the 24-hour classic.

“Never change a winning team,” said Herbst. “Michael, Arno, and Lorenzo had a successful season in the NLS last year, winning three titles. Eric has integrated seamlessly, and we now have a strong Am quartet ready for the challenge.”

The 24-hour race takes place 19–22 June 2025, with Équipe Vitesse also contesting all Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie rounds and both ADAC 24h Qualifiers in preparation. The team’s 2025 campaign began with a setback in NLS1, where a collision led to their first retirement on the Nordschleife since 2021. Despite the early exit, the car’s chassis was undamaged, and the team plans to return to the grid for NLS2 later this month.
