The second qualifying session for Sunday’s DTM race at Oschersleben took place under clear skies, though the morning temperatures remained brisk at 10°C. Despite the chill, Jules Gounon of Mercedes-AMG Team Mann-Filter delivered a stellar performance, setting the fastest lap at 1:21.072 minutes and securing pole position with a commanding fifth-lap effort.

Jordan Pepper, piloting the Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo2 for TGI Team Lamborghini by GRT, claimed second place, demonstrating his affinity for the circuit. Meanwhile, Thierry Vermeulen of Emil Frey Racing secured third in his Ferrari 296 GT3, making a late push just 90 seconds before the session concluded.

The second row of the grid will feature Porsche driver Ayhancan Güven in fourth, alongside Ricardo Feller, who placed his Land Motorsport Audi in fifth.

The Sunday race at Oschersleben is set to commence at 13:30 local time.
