It was a strong weekend for ACI Motorsports and Yves Baltas, who swept Rounds 3 and 4—both overall and in the Pro class—in Miami, supporting the F1 weekend at the circuit.

Baltas’ opening-lap pass in Turn 1 proved to be the defining move of the weekend, making an aggressive dive to overtake the polesitter—and fellow teammate—for Saturday’s race (Round 3), Jimmy Llibre. However, Baltas’ move had to be repeated later in the race, as Llibre reclaimed the lead on the opening lap prior to a race caution.

Baltas retook the lead midway through Saturday’s race following the final caution of the afternoon, as Llibre went off-line, allowing Baltas to secure the top podium spot.

In Sunday’s race (Round 4), Llibre crossed the finish line first, leading every lap of the race. However, a clean cut of a corner resulted in a multi-second penalty, handing the overall and class win to Baltas.

James Sofronas and Angel Benitez earned class wins in the Pro-Am category over the weekend, highlighting a strong showing for Pro-Am drivers. Meanwhile, Todd Parriott and Scott Blind split victories in the two-car Masters field in Miami.

The 2025 Porsche Carrera Cup North America season returns to action in a month’s time, when the series supports its second of three F1 events this year in Montreal. It also marks the series’ only visit north of the border.
