It was a clean sweep in Mustang Challenge this weekend, as Robert Noaker and Alex Bachoura earned dual victories in both the Dark Horse and Dark Horse Legends classes at Laguna Seca.

Noaker was dominant from the outset, leading both races from start to finish. Meanwhile, Alex Bachoura capitalized on mistakes by TechSport’s Alfonso Diaz to secure a pair of wins — including a dramatic last-lap pass on Diaz in Race 1 at the famed Corkscrew.

The victory extends Noaker’s championship lead to over 300 points, while Bachoura remains in pursuit in the overall Dark Horse standings. However, Bachoura holds the lead in the Legends category, maintaining a sub-200-point advantage over Diaz.

Next up, the series heads to Le Mans in mid-June for the highly anticipated Mustang Challenge Invitational — a non-points race held in support of the 24 Hours of Le Mans weekend.

While it remains unclear which drivers will make the trip to France, the event promises to be a spectacular showcase for the single-make series on one of motorsport’s most historic stages.
