On-track action returns to Central Florida this weekend as Sebring Raceway plays host to a five-series slate from SRO America, headlined by GT World Challenge America.

Fifteen cars are scheduled to take the green flag on both Saturday and Sunday in the top-tier series, while the remaining support series will also compete in their respective two-race weekends.

It’s been an all-BMW affair in the season championship battle so far, with Turner Motorsports leading the Pro-Am class and Random Vandals Racing setting the pace in the Pro category.

Dollahite Racing represents the lone Am class entry this weekend, with no championship points awarded due to the limited number of entries in the category.

The weekend will feature several familiar IMSA and WEC regulars, as SRO America tackles one of the most demanding circuits on the calendar.

Bold BMWs

It has been an ideal start to the GT World Challenge America season for BMW, which currently leads both the Pro and Pro-Am championships.

The pairing of Connor De Phillippi and Kenton Koch has proven stellar for the raccoon-liveried Random Vandals Racing team. Still, JMF is not far behind, with its Mercedes-backed entry aiming to secure valuable points in the championship chase.

Turner Motorsports, meanwhile, holds a narrow six-point lead over Regulator Racing in the Pro-Am class. Drivers Jeff Burton and Phillip Ellis will look to widen that gap and hold off the BMW charge. The last time Ellis raced at Sebring, he captured an IMSA victory with Winward Racing—and now looks to complete a Sebring sweep across both disciplines.
