Stoffel Vandoorne delivered Maserati its first win of the 2025 season as Season 11 of Formula E reached the halfway mark.

Vandoorne held a commanding lead in the closing stages, allowing the Belgian driver to secure his first race victory since Season 8 in 2022, when he won with Mercedes-EQ in Monaco.

Oliver Rowland initially led the way through the early laps in wet, soaking conditions as drivers struggled for grip. However, a mid-race red flag caused by Max Guenther’s stoppage reshuffled the field—though Rowland managed to retain his position after the restart.

The turning point came with Pit Boost, as Vandoorne timed his strategy to perfection, building a staggering 19-second lead at one point en route to victory.

Vandoorne’s advantage was so significant that even a spin couldn’t stop him from maintaining the lead and holding onto his dominant gap over the field.

Behind Vandoorne, Oliver Rowland secured second place—his seventh podium in the last eight races—while Taylor Barnard claimed third, marking his fourth podium finish of the 2025 campaign.
