Wayne Taylor Racing driver Jordan Taylor is set to return to the NASCAR ranks this weekend, as he climbs behind the wheel of the No. 7 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado at Lime Rock Park.

TWG, the company that partially owns Spire, has a stake with Wayne Taylor Racing which allowed for this opportunity to come about for the multi-time Rolex 24 winner.

A decorated sports car specialist, Taylor will be making only his third career start across NASCAR’s three national series. He last competed for Kaulig Racing at the Charlotte Roval in 2023, earning a career-best 16th-place finish. His lone Cup Series appearance came earlier that same year with Hendrick Motorsports at Circuit of the Americas, stepping in for Chase Elliott during his early-season injury absence.

So far in 2025, Taylor and the Wayne Taylor Racing team have struggled to reach the podium in their return to Cadillac. Despite the challenges, Taylor brings proven success at Lime Rock, having scored a win there in 2021 with Corvette Racing in IMSA competition.

“I’m eager to join Spire Motorsports for the LiUNA 150,” Taylor said in the team’s release. “I’ve spoken with a few members of the team over the past few years, so it’s great that things have finally come together. I know it’s going to be tough jumping into the series mid-season, but I’m joining one of the top teams in the CRAFTSMAN Truck Series. Our Gainbridge Chevrolet Silverado will definitely be competitive—I just hope I can adapt to the truck quickly over the short weekend. Lime Rock Park is a track I know really well, but obviously all my experience there is in very different types of cars, so I’m looking forward to the new challenge.”

Also joining the Spire lineup this weekend is Thomas Annunziata, who will pilot the No. 07 Chevrolet Silverado. Annunziata brings strong road course credentials of his own, highlighted by recent stints in Trans Am and regional Mazda racing.
