The 2026 GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS calendar has been officially revealed, confirming a largely stable 10-round schedule with just two key changes: Portimão returns to the series for the first time since 2015, replacing Valencia as the season finale, while Zandvoort moves from spring to a late-September slot.

Unveiled during Stéphane Ratel’s traditional Spa 24 Hours press conference, the ten-round schedule continues the five-five split between Endurance and Sprint Cups and features significant continuity across the board. Aside from the addition of Algarve International Circuit, only two notable changes have been made: Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia drops off the calendar, while Zandvoort shifts from a spring date to a new late-season slot.

Portimão, which last featured on the GT World Challenge Europe schedule in 2015, returns to host the decider on 17-18 October. The 4.7-kilometre track brings with it a reputation for fast, flowing corners and significant elevation changes, setting the stage for a dramatic conclusion to the 2026 campaign.

The season opens with the official Prologue at Circuit Paul Ricard on 7-8 April, followed by the Endurance Cup curtain-raiser at the same venue just days later. Eight of the ten events maintain the same weekend as in 2025.

As in previous years, the GT4 European Series and GT2 European Series will run alongside the headline championship at selected rounds. Further support race details are expected to follow.
