The 12th Le Mans Classic, held from July 3-6, 2025, at the iconic Circuit de la Sarthe, was a spectacular tribute to the legacy of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Over 238,000 spectators flocked to witness nearly 700 historic race cars battle it out across six grids in a thrilling 24-hour racing spectacle.
This final biennial edition, before the event shifts to an annual format in 2026, delivered unforgettable moments. From scorching heat to Sunday’s rain-soaked races. Highlights included Maxime Guenat’s dominant Lola T286 victories and Emanuel Collard’s penalized but blistering Pescarolo-Courage runs in the Endurance Racing Legends grid.
Off-track, the vibrant exhibitors’ village, car club parades, and a ‘sport-chic’ dress code immersed fans in a nostalgic celebration of motorsport heritage. With 8,000 classic cars on display and live entertainment, the event was a time warp to racing’s golden eras.
As Le Mans Classic evolves into alternating Heritage (1923-1975) and Legend (1976-2015) formats next year, 2025 marked a historic farewell to its original form—a fitting send-off for a global benchmark in historic racing.
