Ben Dörr’s would-be first DTM podium has been taken away. The #25 Dörr Motorsport McLaren 720S GT3 was disqualified from Race 2 at the Sachsenring after stewards confirmed multiple infringements of the sporting regulations.

According to the decision, the team carried out a forbidden slick-to-slick tyre change on the grid. In addition, car #25 left the pitlane with the nominated tyres for the race, but not the set used to set its fastest lap in qualifying as required by the rules. The stewards also determined that the team heated and prepared a new set of tyres on the way to the grid.

For these combined breaches, the stewards imposed a disqualification. Jules Gounon is promoted to second place and Ben Green moves up to third in the amended results.
