The ADAC Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS) will celebrate its 50th season in 2026 with a ten-race schedule across seven weekends. The campaign begins on 14 March and runs until 10 October, with all races taking place on the Nürburgring Nordschleife.

After proving successful in recent years, the ADAC 24h Nürburgring Qualifiers remain part of the championship. The two-race weekend in April will once again serve as a key prelude to the 24 Hours of Nürburgring and pushes the overall tally to ten races.

VLN managing director Mike Jäger underlined the significance of the milestone: “The NLS has established itself as a permanent fixture in international motorsport over the past 49 years. Apart from Formula 1 and NASCAR, I can’t think of any other series with a longer history. Founded in 1977 by enthusiastic motorsport clubs, it has preserved its authenticity despite constant development and professionalisation. The fact that it is doing so well today is down to teamwork, and I especially want to thank the VLN staff.”
