The ADAC Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS) will introduce a new one-make category in 2026 with the arrival of the BMW M2 Racing. Continuing a tradition that began with the M235i Racing, M240i Racing and M2 CS Racing, the latest model provides the basis for a fresh Cup class on the Nordschleife. Goodyear remains on board as exclusive tyre partner.

BMW gave the car its first outings in late 2024, when FK Performance Motorsport fielded a prototype for Max Hesse and Jens Klingmann. At the 2025 ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring, the M2 Racing proved its endurance credentials by taking SP3T class honours with Klingmann, Ugo de Wilde, Charles Weerts and Michael Bräutigam.

“The BMW Cup cars have provided exciting racing in the past. In 2016, 2017, 2019 and 2024, they produced the champions of our series,” said VLN managing director Mike Jäger.

The M2 Racing Cup will make its full debut in the 2026 NLS season.
