Rutronik Racing snatched the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup title in a dramatic late twist at Barcelona, Cadillac and Porsche shared the spoils at Petit Le Mans, Falken Motorsports signed off the NLS year with a commanding 1–2, and Topcats Racing defended their GT Cup crown after a dominant showing at Snetterton.

GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup – Barcelona: Garage 59 Ends Season in Style, Rutronik Seals the Title

Garage 59 closed the 2025 GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup season with a dominant win at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. The #58 McLaren 720S EVO GT3 of Dean Macdonald, Louis Prette, and Adam Smalley led almost the entire three-hour race to take both overall and Gold Cup honours — McLaren’s first Endurance win since 2016.

Behind them, the championship battle went down to the wire. A late overtake by Patric Niederhauser in the #96 Rutronik Porsche proved decisive, earning just enough points for Rutronik Racing to snatch the Endurance Cup title ahead of Mann-Filter Mercedes and WRT BMW.

Verstappen.com Racing secured the Gold Cup championship, while Century Motorsport took Silver Cup honours and Kessel Racing were crowned Bronze Cup champions.

IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship – Petit Le Mans: Cadillac Wins, Porsche Takes GTP Title

The #31 Whelen Cadillac V-Series.R of Earl Bamber, Jack Aitken, and Frederik Vesti closed the season with back-to-back victories, winning Petit Le Mans after a late fuel dash at Road Atlanta. The #23 Heart of Racing Aston Martin Valkyrie took a sensational second, while the #6 Porsche Penske 963 of Mathieu Jaminet, Matt Campbell, and Laurens Vanthoor sealed the GTP championship with third place — securing both driver and manufacturer titles for Porsche.

LMP2

Steven Thomas ended his IMSA career on top as the #11 TDS Racing ORECA 07 of Thomas, Mikkel Jensen, and Hunter McElrea dominated to win the class and the Michelin Endurance Cup. The #99 AO Racing ‘Spike’ ORECA finished sixth to clinch the 2025 LMP2 championship for PJ Hyett, Dane Cameron, and Jonny Edgar.

GTD Pro

Dan Harper brought home victory for the #48 Paul Miller Racing BMW M4 GT3 EVO, giving the team the race win and the Endurance Cup. The #3 Corvette Racing Z06 GT3.R of Antonio Garcia, Alexander Sims, and Dani Juncadella finished third to secure the GTD Pro championship for Corvette Racing and Chevrolet.

AF Corse claimed class honours with the #21 Ferrari 296 GT3 driven by Simon Mann, Lilou Wadoux, and Alessandro Pier Guidi — Wadoux becoming the first woman to win Petit Le Mans in two decades. Meanwhile, the #57 Winward Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 of Russell Ward, Philip Ellis, and Indy Dontje clinched both team and manufacturer GTD titles for Mercedes-AMG.

Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS) – 1. Sportwarte-Trophy (NLS10): Falken 1–2, FK Performance Takes the Title

Falken Motorsports closed the 2025 NLS season in dominant form, scoring a 1–2 finish in tricky mixed conditions. The #4 Porsche 911 GT3 R of Dorian Boccolacci and Nico Menzel recovered from early damage to win ahead of the #3 sister car of double starter Menzel and Joel Sturm. The #6 HRT Ford Mustang GT3 of Vincent Kolb and Frank Stippler completed the podium after a strong run in both wet and dry phases.

Consistency paid off for FK Performance Motorsport as Nick Wüstenhagen and Ranko Mijatovic secured the overall NLS title in their #187 BMW M4 GT4. The pair secured the overall title on a tie-breaker, narrowly beating CUP2 frontrunners Arne Hoffmeister and Tim Scheerbarth after a season-long points battle fought across classes.

GT Cup – Snetterton: Topcats Retain Title as Smith Sweeps Snetterton

The 2025 GT Cup Championship ended with a blockbuster weekend at Snetterton, where Mark Smith’s perfect sweep and Topcats Racing’s title defence capped off another thrilling season.

Saturday – Sprint Race

Saturday’s Sprint Race saw Mark Smith continue his blistering late-season form, taking a lights-to-flag victory in his #10 Paddock Motorsport McLaren 720S GT3 ahead of Peter Erceg’s Audi and Darren Kell’s McLaren. Behind them, Fraser Fenwick claimed an impressive second overall and GTC victory for Topcats Racing, strengthening the team’s championship hopes alongside Charlotte Gilbert.

Saturday – Pitstop Race

The Pitstop Race brought even more drama as Smith narrowly held off Marcus Clutton’s JMH Audi after late contact and a post-race penalty for the Audi ensured Smith’s second win of the day. Fenwick and Gilbert again dominated GTC, extending their title advantage with another commanding win.

Sunday – Sprint Race and Pitstop Race

Smith returned on Sunday to complete a flawless four-race sweep, winning both the Pitstop and Sprint races to seal the GT3 and Sprint Challenge titles. Erceg and Kell completed the podiums, while Topcats’ Fenwick and Gilbert wrapped up both the GTC and overall GT Cup championships with another strong finish behind team-mate Jack Gadd’s race-winning Lamborghini.

Topcats Racing also claimed the Teams’ Championship after a season-long fight with SVG Motorsport, ending another competitive GT Cup year in triumphant fashion.
