Ferrari and Mercedes-AMG led the way in the final practice session ahead of qualifying for the BAPCO 8 Hours of Bahrain, with Antonio Fuoco and Martin Berry setting the pace in Hypercar and LMGT3 respectively.

Hypercar

The #50 Ferrari AF Corse 499P of Antonio Fuoco set the fastest time in FP3 with a 1m49.725s, edging out Kamui Kobayashi’s #7 Toyota GR010 Hybrid by just 0.012s.

Behind them, Robert Kubica put the #83 AF Corse Ferrari third as the Polish driver and his crew continued their push to close the championship gap to the #51 Ferrari, which ended the session seventh.

The #009 The Heart of Racing Aston Martin Valkyrie continued its strong weekend form in fourth, ahead of the #12 Cadillac V-Series.R, making it five different manufacturers in the top six as Malthe Jakobsen completed the group in the #94 Peugeot 9X8.

LMGT3

Martin Berry topped LMGT3 in the #61 Iron Lynx Mercedes-AMG GT3 with a 2m03.158s, leading both Akkodis ASP Lexus RC F entries. Arnold Robin was second in the #78, while José María López put the #87 in third.

The #21 Vista AF Corse Ferrari made further gains in fourth, ahead of the #81 TF Sport Corvette Z06 GT3.R, while the #95 United Autosports McLaren continued its upward trend in sixth.
