Rutronik Racing will join forces with Lamborghini from 2026, launching a multi-year programme built around the new Lamborghini Temerario GT3. The German squad will enter the car in GT World Challenge Europe, where it won the 2025 Endurance Cup title.
Factory line-up confirmed, drivers to follow
The team will run a full works-supported effort with an all-Lamborghini factory driver crew. Driver names will be announced later, but Rutronik confirms that it will field a complete works line-up from the start of the project.
Early debut for the new Temerario GT3
The Temerario GT3 will make its championship debut at the opening GT World Challenge Europe weekend on 11–12 April 2026. Lamborghini first showcased the model in the summer of 2025 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The car features a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 producing around 550 hp and incorporates a range of updates developed for the next generation of GT3 racing.
Last weekend, Pfaff Motorsports ran the Temerario’s first laps on U.S. soil. We talked with Lamborghini works driver Andrea Caldarelli about the American shakedown. Read the full interview here.
Rutronik continues upward trajectory
The partnership follows a strong 2025 season for Rutronik Racing. The team led by Klaus Graf claimed the Endurance Cup title, finished a close second at the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa, and secured nine podium finishes across ten events. Its Bronze Cup entry added two further class wins. Rutronik previously won the 2019 ADAC GT Masters championship in its first full season at the top level.
Further details of the programme will be announced at a later date.

Klaus Graf, Team Principal, Rutronik Racing: “We are very excited and looking forward to entering into a new strategic partnership with Lamborghini in 2026. For Rutronik Racing, this is another milestone in the team’s development. We are very proud of what we have achieved in recent years, which we were able to confirm with the title in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup. Now it’s time to look ahead and take the next step. We are convinced that we can achieve our medium and long-term goals with a partner like Lamborghini. We are very much looking forward to competing with the new Lamborghini Temerario GT3 in 2026 and beyond. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Lamborghini for their trust in Rutronik Racing!”
Rouven Mohr, Lamborghini Chief Technical Officer: “The 2026 season marks the racing debut of the Temerario GT3 in a prestigious championship such as the GT World Challenge Europe. It is a series in which successive generations of the Huracán have been title contenders since 2015, and where Lamborghini has secured numerous titles across all categories, culminating in the recent victory at the 24 Hours of Spa. For these reasons, we will even strengthen our competitiveness with a highly experienced and professional team such as Rutronik Racing. I am confident that together we will achieve new successes and tackle every challenge with determination.”
