After weeks of speculation and building momentum, the entry list for the 2026 Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour has finally dropped. The grid features 32 GT3 cars from 12 manufacturers, the second-highest GT3 count ever for the race, underlining the growing strength of the Intercontinental GT Challenge opener at Mount Panorama.
The headline addition is the Ford Mustang GT3, which will make its Bathurst debut under the HRT Ford Racing banner, reigniting the classic Ford-versus-GM rivalry at endurance level. Ford’s arrival is matched by the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R, entered twice by Johor Motorsports Racing JMR, while Ferrari, Lamborghini and McLaren also feature in a diverse outright field.
Defending winners Team WRT return with a pair of BMW M4 GT3s, aiming to repeat their 2025 1–2 finish, while former winners EBM, 75 Express and Absolute Racing are also confirmed. The entry list includes several Bathurst newcomers, with teams such as Optimum Motorsport, High Class Racing and TSUNAMI RT set to tackle Mount Panorama for the first time.
Beyond GT3, Method Motorsport returns to defend its GT4 title with the McLaren Artura GT4, while the Invitational class adds further variety through the IRC GT and KTM X-BOW GT2. With entries still open until early January, the field is expected to grow further ahead of the February classic.
