Family-operated Di Benedetto Racing is poised to be a strong contender for the GSX class championship in 2026 as the team returns for another season in the VP Racing Fuels SportsCar Challenge.

Run by father-and-son duo Tony Di Benedetto and Justin Di Benedetto, the Canadian-based program put together an impressive 2025 campaign, highlighted by podium finishes at Virginia International Raceway and Road Atlanta.

With several teams departing the VP Racing Fuels SportsCar Challenge and Justin returning behind the wheel of the No. 4 Porsche 718 GT4 RS Clubsport, Di Benedetto Racing enters the new season eyeing a potential breakout year.

In addition to championship aspirations, the team will debut a bold new look for 2026, unveiling a bright and vibrant livery featuring neon orange and blue accents. The refreshed design will be backed by new partner Bolt, alongside returning sponsor Syntheia AI.

“We’re excited to be back in the IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge for 2026,” said Di Benedetto. “Last season was our first foray into the IMSA paddock, and we had a great year, finishing fourth in the GSX standings with our Porsche Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport. I’ll be looking to build on our successes from last year and have an even stronger 2026. Last season was a complete reset for our program, as it was our first full season in the United States, where five of the six tracks we raced at were completely new for me.”

“The podiums at VIR and Road Atlanta were the highlights of the season, and we are aiming to grab more next time out. We had great competition all season, and I’m proud that we were the fastest Porsche in our class. We kick off the season in a few weeks at Daytona for the Roar, and I couldn’t think of a more perfect place to start the racing year.”
