Johor Motorsports Racing has officially announced their driver line-up for the Bathurst 12 Hour, marking another major step for the Malaysian team on the international endurance racing stage.

As confirmed, JMR will field two cars at Mount Panorama in two different classes, taking on one of the toughest endurance races on the calendar. The Bathurst 12 Hour is well known for its challenging nature, with the Mount Panorama Circuit demanding both speed and precision.

Driver Line-up

The #2 JMR Corvette Z06 GT3.R will compete in the Pro class, driven by Alex Sims and Nicky Catsburg, the duo who successfully brought the team onto the podium at the Suzuka 1000km. For Bathurst, the line-up is further strengthened by the addition of New Zealand star Earl Bamber, who claimed victory at last year’s Motul Petit Le Mans with Cadillac.

The Pro line-up looks promising, as the Bathurst 12 Hour will mark the first-ever appearance of the Corvette Z06 GT3.R at Mount Panorama. The American-built GT3 will take on the challenge of the Mountain, sharing the stage with fellow American manufacturer Ford, adding extra interest to the event.

Meanwhile, JMR will also compete in the Pro-Am class, featuring a line-up that blends experience and race management. Australian driver Jordan Love will join Prince Jefri Ibrahim and Prince Abu Bakar Ibrahim, alongside DTM superstar Ben Green, who previously played a key role in the team’s success in the GT World Challenge Asia. The Pro-Am entry is expected to focus on consistency, teamwork, and strategic execution over the full 12-hour distance.

Johor Motorsports Racing also heads into the Bathurst 12 Hour carrying a strong record at Mount Panorama, having consistently achieved podium finishes at the event in previous years. This season, however, marks a new chapter for the team, as JMR takes on the Mountain with a new manufacturer, adding another layer of challenge and anticipation to their Bathurst campaign.

With strong driver combinations across both classes, Johor Motorsports Racing heads into the Bathurst 12 Hour with growing confidence, aiming to make a strong impression in one of the most demanding endurance races on the global GT calendar.
